Teach in Thailand
Thailand has been a hotspot for teaching English for many years now. This is in part due to the tropical weather and soft sanded beaches, and more in part due to the people who live there. Thailand's other name is "The Land of Smiles" and foreigners are welcomed and treated as if they were royalty at times by the Thai people.
A foreign teacher’s salary is very generous in comparison to the local salary, sometimes four times what the local Thai would receive. This means that although the foreign teacher might not be able to make that salary go far in his/her own country, he/she will find that salary goes very far by Thai standards.
Thailand has thousands of foreign teachers living and teaching there at any one time. This basically means that wherever you find yourself in Thailand you probably won’t be the only foreigner there!
In the following subsections we have detailed all of the relevant information that teachers require and have requested over the years. Everything from the financial rewards available to your need-to-know visa documentation and application process to the vaccinations that are recommended you get prior to arriving.
