Vaccination and Packing
Vaccinations - It is recommended you get the following basic vaccinations for Korea and for all of Asia: Tetanus, Hepatitis A & B, Polio, Typhoid, Rabies.
The Hepatitis A & B vaccinations are usually administered as a course of three shots, each a month apart. If you do not have time to complete the course of vaccinations before you leave for Korea, it is possible to get the follow-up shots after you land in Korea. Local doctors are plentiful and the shots will most likely be cheaper but of the same quality than what you would pay at home.
All that you will require is your alien registration card and the vaccination booklet that details the shots you have already received, this is provided by your doctor. Malaria tablets are not required for South Korea if you wish to travel to other parts of Asia during or after Korea, then you may need them but they can easily be bought in Korea at that point.
Packing for Korea - Please remember you are flying economy class so your maximum baggage allowance will be 20kg -25kg, anything over this and you will be charged by the airlines!
