Qualifications Required
You do not need any experience to teach English, but you do need to have a lot of passion! You will need to commit to a year contract for Korea and 10 - 12 months for Thailand.
For all of our placements and our TEFL courses we are looking for people who are enthusiastic and love to work with children.
You need to hold a bachelors degree for some of our placements. The degree can be in any subject. If you do not hold a degree then you may not be able to apply for some of our placements.
You need to be a native English speaker. This normally means you are a native from one of these countries:
The United States of America
The United Kingdom
Ireland
Canada
South Africa
Australia
New Zealand
The reason behind our demand for native speakers only is that your students need to copy your accent as well as learn from you. We only will employ teachers who have a Western accent, or in other words, who have an accent from one of the countries listed above. If you feel you are not from one of these countries but your accent sounds as if you do come from one of these countries, and is near-perfect then contact us.
